About the role

Responsibilities

  • Partner with software engineers, product managers, quality engineers, and business leadership to drive key product deliverables through the full software development cycle.
  • Translate product vision and global strategy into concrete technical goals, team tasks, and issues.
  • Triage field requests to maximize team focus and address items requiring immediate attention.
  • Maintain comprehensive project awareness and proactively resolve risks that could derail delivery.
  • Improve cross-team collaboration, alignment, communication, and coordination.
  • Work with customer-facing engineering teams on product implementation, rollout, and support.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success managing complex software development projects for an enterprise software company or startup.
  • Ability to participate in technical discussions and learn technical concepts.
  • Excellent judgment and composure in high-pressure situations.
  • Creative, lightweight project-management approach that supports rapid iteration within a larger development organization.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with customer-facing teams and empathy for end users.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to a high product-quality bar.
  • Ability and willingness to obtain a US security clearance at the Secret designation or above.
  • Relevant technical degree or experience in a software-related field, such as Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering.
  • 2+ years of project or program management experience, preferably in a fast-paced or dynamic environment.
