Build and support high-performance, resilient financial systems across client and server applications. The role requires at least four years of distributed-systems experience, Java and TypeScript or JavaScript expertise, and a bachelor's degree or higher.

Responsibilities
- Design and develop mission-critical distributed systems with high requirements for performance, resiliency, and consistency.
- Build and design new solutions in collaboration with business partners.
- Develop client-side applications focused on usability and navigation, as well as server-side systems for data storage, security, and performance.
- Support existing business systems and run systems in production.
- Troubleshoot system performance and take corrective action.
- Work end-to-end across projects with engineering teams in Sweden and New York.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of hands-on professional experience designing and developing distributed systems.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience supporting and running systems in a production environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Required experience with Java and TypeScript or JavaScript.
- Willingness and ability to learn the company's technology stack.
Nice to Have
- Backend, frontend, full-stack, or DevOps engineering experience with exposure to end-to-end development.
- Experience troubleshooting system performance.
- Understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and the technical requirements of financial systems.
- Experience with Golang, Python, React, AWS, Kubernetes, gRPC, Protobuf, PostgreSQL, Kafka, Redis, or Docker.
