Founding Engineer builds full-stack Shopify app, AI video extraction pipelines, and creator tools to create commerce evidence layer from buyer videos. Requires AI-native full-stack experience, strong fundamentals, and Bay Area location.

Responsibilities
- Build and ship across the full stack: Shopify app, storefront widget, AI extraction pipeline, internal tooling.
- Harden live Shopify app and storefront integration across OS 2.0 and legacy themes with safe rollouts and easy rollback.
- Extend mobile web creator upload flow with Mux: QR → prompt → record/upload → consent → submit.
- Turn raw buyer video into structured product evidence at scale: AI extraction, review/approve/publish, and self-serve tooling.
What Success Looks Like
- Onboarding new customers becomes boring and repeatable.
- Founder minutes per merchant drops materially because workflows are productized.
- Scale customers without bespoke engineering per store.
Required Qualifications
- Shipped to production across the stack and close loops fast: design, build, debug, operate.
- Strong fundamentals: performance, reliability, security, product/UX judgment (especially conversion-sensitive surfaces).
- AI-native builder: ship production code with agentic tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex CLI, similar).
- Use AI for speed, keep quality high with tests/CI/observability, debug AI output errors.
- Thrive in ambiguity and small-team environment.
- Excited to learn new tools/domains fast and jump into any task.
Nice to Have
- Shopify apps/theme integration or embedded widget/SDK in hostile environments.
- Video pipeline familiarity (Mux or similar).
- Experimentation/analytics rigor: clean event design, integrity checks, debugging.
