About the role

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted identity coach, guiding customers through timely technical guidance, advice, enablement, and best-practice sharing.
  • Learn customers’ businesses, strategies, goals, challenges, and technical landscapes through the lens of identity.
  • Build and nurture long-term relationships with developers, engineering leads, application builders, product owners, and C-level executives.
  • Conduct quarterly executive customer meetings to recap value, show progress, and discuss future-state and roadmap items.
  • Conduct technical customer meetings focused on identity solutions, guidance, and best practices.
  • Monitor customer health, satisfaction, and engagement while proactively addressing risks and escalations.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to increase customer adoption and uncover growth opportunities.
  • Analyze trends, identify improvement areas, and optimize customer outcomes.
  • Educate customers on new features and align product roadmaps with their needs.
  • Represent the customer voice and ensure feedback shapes the company’s approach.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of total experience in information technology with a bachelor’s degree, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with authentication and authorization technologies and protocols, including OAuth, OpenID Connect, and SAML 2.0.
  • Experience consuming APIs and using HTTP request methods.
  • High-level understanding of custom consumer and SaaS applications, including web and native applications.
  • Interest in cybersecurity principles for IT and consumer applications.
  • Experience with SaaS, PaaS, or cloud-based services, including driving adoption, integration, and ongoing use.
  • Basic knowledge of the software development lifecycle, programming languages, and application-builder practices.
  • Customer-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, conduct customer research, generate reports, and analyze data.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, including communicating with audiences from developers to C-level executives.
  • Ability to influence customer behavior and health metrics across a customer portfolio.
  • Ability to work remotely within 50 miles of Mexico City; travel required for under 25% of working time.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual on-target compensation for candidates located in California (excluding the San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington: $128,000–$176,000 USD.
  • Equity may be offered where applicable.
  • Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance; 401(k); flexible spending account; and paid leave, including PTO and parental leave.
