About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive company-wide ways of working across collaboration, decision-making, documentation, project management, and communication.
  • Set standards for internal and external collaboration across Notion, Slack, Google Workspace, and Jira.
  • Establish lightweight, documented decision-making practices, including DACI-style ownership.
  • Own Notion governance, information architecture, content standards, permissions, and page ownership.
  • Set shared baselines for Jira project and program structure, naming, and usage.
  • Define Slack conventions, channel governance, and asynchronous communication norms.
  • Publish canonical, company-wide guidance for core tools.
  • Use AI to audit workspaces, identify inconsistencies, maintain standards, and reduce repetitive administration.
  • Run recurring compliance checks and drive channels and workspaces toward conformance.
  • Partner with department champions to roll out standards and support adoption without direct authority.
  • Align with the AI Transformation team on applying AI within core collaboration tools.
  • Incorporate employee-experience feedback from the People team to refine standards.
  • Provide executional support for COO Office communications in coordination with Internal Communications.

Requirements

  • Deep, hands-on experience administering Notion at scale, including governance, databases, information architecture, and permissions.
  • Strong working knowledge of Slack, Google Workspace, and Jira administration and best practices.
  • Proven ability to define standards and drive cross-functional adoption without direct authority.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, canonical guidance.
  • Program management discipline, including managing rollouts, tracking compliance, and coordinating stakeholders across functions.
  • Experience operating in ambiguity and building a function from the ground up.
  • Strong judgment about where to standardize and where to preserve team autonomy.
  • Advanced fluency with conversational AI systems such as Claude and ChatGPT for complex, multi-step work.
  • Demonstrated experience redesigning workflows around AI to create meaningful leverage.
  • Hands-on experience with native AI features in tools such as Notion AI, Glean-style search, and Atlassian Intelligence.
  • Ability to build AI-assisted governance at scale across pages, channels, and workspaces.
  • Fluency with AI agents and automation for repetitive administration.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience establishing tooling governance during a merger, acquisition, or major organizational integration.
  • Notion certification or comparable platform mastery.
  • Experience building AI-driven internal tools, automations, or agents.
  • Familiarity with change management frameworks.

  • Denver pay range: $144,689.50–$180,861.50 USD.
