Senior Product Designer

Responsibilities

• Craft rational, elegant, and intuitive interfaces, balancing implementation ease with pixel-level quality.
• Own product copy within designs.
• Contribute to the team’s vision, planning, and roadmap.
• Contribute to and improve the design system.
• Document context, constraints, and options clearly in Notion and Figma for an asynchronous, international team.
• Use AI throughout research, prototyping, and iteration, including tools such as v0, Claude, or Cursor.
• Maintain a high design and execution bar.
• Design for diverse recipients with accessibility and internationalization in mind.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Own design for a product area end to end, including scoping, driving, and measuring work against user and business goals.
• Conduct research and usability testing to understand user problems before designing solutions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of product design experience.
• Experience at a startup or fast-moving product company.
• A portfolio demonstrating functional, simple, and delightful user interfaces.
• Proven experience building and improving design systems.
• Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
• Experience using AI tools in a design workflow, including prototyping.
• Ability to handle ambiguity, conduct research, and independently gather information to make informed decisions.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base salary: $200,000–$265,000.
