What You'll Do
- Shape the end-to-end admin experience by designing across a complex, multi-product ecosystem, ensuring these experiences feel coherent.
- Define and refine problem spaces with Product and Ops partners, framing work around clear admin, decision-maker, and business outcomes.
- Help set the roadmap by partnering with Product, Engineering, and Data to ground priorities in admin needs, business health, and operational realities.
- Lead discovery by partnering with Sales, Account Management, Support, and Research to understand enterprise procurement, program administration, and organizational complexity.
- Design for multiple personas (decision-makers, billing leads, program admins, corporate orderers) ensuring intentional handoffs.
- Raise the bar on interaction, systems, and visual design; craft user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes; contribute to and advocate for the design system.
- Use data and experimentation to guide iteration; collaborate with Analytics and Product to define metrics, design experiments, and interpret results.
- Facilitate alignment across disciplines by running workshops, critique sessions, and working sessions; bring partners along with clear storytelling and artifacts.
- Use AI-powered tools to move faster across the design process and help raise the bar for team adoption.
What You Have
- 5+ years of experience as a product designer, user experience designer, interaction designer, or similar role, with experience in visual/graphic design.
- Experience designing for complex, multi-step journeys, ideally in admin tools, dashboards, or multi-sided marketplaces.
- Track record of shaping what teams work on, moving from shipping tickets to solving clearly framed problems with measurable outcomes.
- Comfortable working closely with non-engineering partners like Sales, Account Management, and Support; translating frontline context into product strategy and design decisions.
- Positive attitude; ability to provide and seek clear, constructive feedback.
- Proficiency with the Figma suite, Claude for design, and prototyping tools.
- Experience designing with and contributing to a robust design system.
- Detailed portfolio showcasing:
- Tackling complicated, multi-stakeholder problems.
- Process from discovery through launch and iteration.
- Customer and business impact (ideally activation, retention, or operational improvements).
- Strong storytelling and communication skills for explaining complex flows and tradeoffs to technical and non-technical partners.
- Well-developed collaboration and facilitation skills.
- Ability to travel up to 5 days per quarter for team events when applicable.
Bonus Points
- Experience designing for B2B admin personas: procurement leads, finance admins, IT or HR decision-makers, or account managers.
- Experience in the restaurant, catering, delivery, or gig space.
- Experience designing onboarding flows, activation experiences, or product-led growth motions.
- Experience with service design, journey mapping, or complex operational workflows.
- Experience working in experimentation-heavy environments (A/B testing, data-guided UX improvements).
- Familiarity with Jobs To Be Done, systems thinking, or other frameworks for complex problem spaces.
Compensation
The national total target cash compensation range for this position, including base salary and bonus target, is $146,000 - $187,000 annually. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including prior experience, expertise and region. This range does not represent additional compensation benefits (such as equity, 401K or medical, dental or vision insurance).
