About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the roadmap for the Okta Device Access Experience & Lifecycle.
  • Own the administrator experience for fleets of devices using Okta Device Access across multiple platforms.
  • Drive the Okta-joined administrator experience end-to-end, from enrollment and provisioning through support troubleshooting and device lifecycle management.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, and research teams to define and document user stories and use cases.
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify customer needs and pain points, informing innovation, product decisions, and prioritization.
  • Engage with customers to understand challenges across enterprise and consumer use cases.
  • Define and communicate product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications, to engineering teams.
  • Leverage product data to improve existing products and work across the business to drive adoption and success.
  • Work with Product Marketing to articulate Okta's differentiation from market alternatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • 3+ years of industry experience and 2+ years of product management or related experience.
  • Strong technical background.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Okta, Okta Device Access, and Okta Verify.
  • Familiarity with MDM administrator experiences and device lifecycles.
  • Familiarity with MDM platforms such as Intune and Omnissa.
  • Familiarity with the competitive landscape in device access management.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Annual base salary range: $142,000–$196,000 USD for candidates located in California (excluding the San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington.
  • Compensation may vary based on skills, qualifications, experience, and work location.
  • Equity, where applicable, bonus, health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave, including PTO and parental leave.
