Cloud Security Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Secure cloud infrastructure supporting ClickHouse products and services across AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enable safe and secure use of public cloud infrastructure and resources.
  • Develop and implement security systems, including cloud security posture management (CSPM), infrastructure as code, and secrets management.
  • Identify and respond to security issues, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
  • Identify security gaps and vulnerabilities in ClickHouse assets.
  • Develop processes, tooling, and automation to scale security processes and mitigate business risks.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of and experience with multiple cloud service providers, including AWS, Google Cloud, and Azure.
  • Experience securing large-scale, customer-facing cloud infrastructure based on Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in common cloud-based DevOps practices, including CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and secrets management.
  • Development and automation experience.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
  • Security- or cloud-related certifications, such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure certifications.
