Software Engineer, Expansion

Responsibilities

• Build new products and tools that help larger teams and companies manage their applications as they grow.
• Collaborate closely with design, product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Evolve and mature the codebase and technology as the product scales and increases in complexity.
• Participate in team planning, roadmapping, and goal-setting.
• Help shape team culture and practices as the company scales.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities with the team.

Requirements

• 6+ years of professional experience shipping software.
• Experience collaborating with product and design stakeholders.
• Experience working across the stack, both collaboratively and independently.
• Strong understanding of web frameworks, APIs, and databases.
• Experience working with multiple programming languages.
• Strong sense of ownership and ability to make pragmatic decisions.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience at a small, high-growth startup.
• Familiarity with modern tooling for software build and deployment processes.
• Familiarity with product-driven growth and modern enterprise audiences.
• Experience with technologies used by the product, including Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, PostgreSQL, Terraform, and Temporal.

Compensation and Benefits

• $170,000–$290,000 annual salary.
