Security Engineer, Corporate Security
Senior hands-on security engineer responsible for endpoint hardening, device trust, identity and SaaS governance, and scalable corporate-security automation across a growing organization. Requires endpoint security expertise, Python scripting, IAM and zero-trust depth, and strong threat-modeling judgment.

Responsibilities
- Drive endpoint hardening across macOS, Windows, Linux, and ChromeOS, including device-management configuration, application allowlisting, patching, and browser policy.
- Extend device-trust and zero-trust access controls for managed devices and appropriate user access.
- Build automation and integrations for joiner/mover/leaver workflows, exception and expiry management, posture-driven policy, and security review triage.
- Lead SaaS and identity governance, including third-party OAuth grants, delegated administration, chat-platform apps, browser extensions, and software security reviews.
- Partner with Security, IT, and Engineering on telemetry, detections, and shared standards.
Requirements
- Hands-on endpoint security engineering across macOS, Windows, Linux, or ChromeOS, including MDM, declarative device management, application allowlisting, binary authorization, system extensions, or endpoint security frameworks.
- Proficiency in Python and general scripting languages.
- Working depth in identity and access management, SaaS security, and zero-trust access.
- Strong threat-modeling judgment and ability to scope, define, and complete security initiatives.
- Care for Anthropic’s mission and corporate security’s role in it.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

- Experience defining the scope and tooling for a security program.
- Experience rolling out security enforcement changes to large user populations.
- Endpoint expertise across multiple operating systems.
- Mobile security experience across managed and BYOD environments.
- SaaS security governance covering third-party integrations, delegated access, and internally built or AI-generated applications.
- Configuration-as-code, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD for corporate infrastructure.
- LLM-assisted security tooling that materially improved team coverage.
- Track record of adopting security controls through influence and partnership.
Compensation
- Annual salary: $320,000–$405,000 USD.
- Hybrid policy: staff are expected to work from an office at least 25% of the time.
- Visa sponsorship is available for eligible roles and candidates.
