Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end design of complex, multi-layer PCBs, including schematic capture and layout.
Integrate microphone arrays with acoustic team, ensuring signal integrity for low-noise, multichannel audio acquisition.
Design and optimize power distribution and control systems for high-torque motors and edge-compute hardware like NVIDIA Jetsons.
Create robust electrical designs for extreme temperature, humidity, and mechanical vibration.
Develop circuits for motor controllers, sensor interfaces, and communication protocols (e.g., CAN bus, EtherCAT).
Debug hardware using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and rework stations.
Requirements
Proven track record of shipping real-world physical systems.
Mastery of Altium, KiCad, or similar for high-density PCB design and power electronics.
Understanding of EMC and electrical safety requirements.
Hands-on experience with digital audio interfaces (I2S, TDM, PDM) and high-speed communication protocols.
Bias toward action; comfortable in lab or field.
U.S. Citizenship and ability to pass background check.

Prior experience with DoD codes and standards for electrical systems.
Experience with power systems for high-speed gimbal or turret systems.
