Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact and relationship owner for Anthropic's initial and growing set of partners in Life Sciences, staying closely involved in the substance of each partnership.
- Own execution of each partnership's technical roadmap and success metrics, tracking progress against commitments and surfacing risks early.
- Manage the full set of internal and external stakeholders for each relationship, including technical leads, business sponsors, and executives on both sides.
- Act as the connective tissue between partners and Anthropic's Life Sciences research team to map skills developed across partnerships and ensure cross-functional learning flows in both directions.
- Help shape and negotiate the specifics of each partnership's scope, including co-development of new skills, company co-creation structures, and novel deal constructs.
- Build operating rhythms, documentation, and internal processes for high-touch partnerships, while laying groundwork for a more scalable model.
- Bring field signals back to the Life Sciences research team to improve the broader platform and approach.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience managing complex, technical partnerships or business development relationships, ideally in biotech, pharma, or another scientifically intensive industry.
- Strong scientific or technical fluency to hold detailed conversations about biotech R&D roadmaps.
- Some experience with product development or product management.
- Comfort owning a relationship end-to-end, from negotiating scope to running day-to-day delivery.
- Ability to manage multiple senior internal and external stakeholders simultaneously with patience and clarity.
Preferred Qualifications
- Thrive in ambiguity and enjoy building processes and operating models from scratch.
- Excited by Anthropic's mission and reinventing how biotech companies get built and resourced.
- Experience working directly with venture-backed biotech company creation or "company-builder" models.
- Track record of translating technical work into clear, structured documentation.
Compensation
Annual compensation range: $300,000 - $320,000 USD (OTE for this sales role, including base and target commissions/bonuses).
Education
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience in a relevant field.
