Responsibilities
Financial Institutions – Business Development & Advisory
Build and manage a structured pipeline of target financial institutions—including banks, exchanges, clearing houses, asset managers, and market infrastructure providers—across awareness, evaluation, pilot, and committed stages.
Develop trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers responsible for blockchain strategy, digital assets, and infrastructure decisions.
Cultivate internal champions and build coalitions across stakeholder groups within target institutions.
Develop and execute an advisor and influencer strategy involving consulting firms, advisors, and intermediaries that shape institutional chain-selection decisions.
Track which institutions are evaluating competing chains and infrastructure, understand their decision drivers, and position Monad for relevant institutional use cases.
Build Monad’s presence in forums, working groups, and industry bodies where institutional blockchain strategy is formed.
Develop and maintain a clear, compelling, and technically credible institutional narrative.
Ecosystem & Institutional Communications
Own the operational cadence of institutional communications, including ecosystem updates and materials for calls and meetings.
Monitor sentiment across institutional channels, identify shifts in perception, and surface context and recommended responses internally.
Refine Monad’s institutional narrative so stakeholders understand what Monad is building and why it matters.
Manage relationship logistics and follow-through to maintain engagement with current stakeholders and warm prospects.
Requirements
6–10 years of experience in financial institution partnerships, institutional business development, financial-services management consulting, or a crypto infrastructure company serving institutions.
Direct experience with how large financial institutions evaluate, procure, and adopt technology infrastructure.
Existing relationships within financial institutions, consulting firms, or the broader institutional crypto ecosystem.
Exceptional written communication skills for investor updates, institutional materials, and narrative documents.
Familiarity with token markets and institutional investor behavior.
Ability to manage multiple workstreams, audiences, and timelines while maintaining quality.
Strong analytical skills for tracking competitive dynamics and synthesizing institutional feedback into actionable intelligence.
