About the role

What you will do

  • Become a ClickHouse subject matter expert
  • Create product and marketing collateral such as blog posts, benchmarks, guides, demos, webpages, docs, deliver conference and meetup presentations, and more
  • Help define and drive our content strategy and roadmap
  • Evaluate and iterate on this strategy with metrics and feedback from stakeholders to track efficacy, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven recommendations
  • Translate technical features and nuance into clear and concise value propositions that address customer needs and pain points
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify positioning opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product management, marketing, and engineering teams

What you will bring

  • 5+ years of engineering or product marketing engineering experience
  • Strong technical background with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts and communicate them effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling engineering content
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization
  • Passion for technology and innovation, with a drive to stay current on industry trends and advancements
  • Deep understanding of databases, particularly OLAP
  • Fluency in SQL
  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in Computer Science or a related technical field
