Responsibilities
Analyze enrollment and application data to identify opportunities to reduce synthetic identity and ID theft losses, with minimal impact to legitimate applicants (35%)
Support the design, testing, and monitoring of new account risk policies and decision rules, partnering with Product and Engineering to ship improvements (30%)
Build and maintain dashboards and reports that track Funnel Enrollment Rate, fraud loss, and approval/false-positive rates against team goals (20%)
Monitor the performance of third-party vendor models and risk signals used at enrollment, flagging anomalies and trends to senior team members (10%)
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to fulfill ad-hoc analysis requests as needed (5%)
Requirements
3+ years of experience in a Fraud, Risk, Compliance, or Investigations role, ideally with exposure to new account enrollment, identity fraud, or KYC/CIP
Working knowledge of identity fraud domains such as synthetic identity and identity theft, and an interest in the threat landscape that targets enrollment funnels
Strong SQL skills
Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, or equivalent
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Glean, Claude) to accelerate day-to-day analysis
Exceptional detail-orientation and organizational skills
The drive to work in a fast-paced environment and meet ambitious deadlines while ensuring flawless completion
Bachelor’s degree in a quantitatively rigorous discipline like engineering, statistics, math, or economics is preferred
