Responsibilities
Marketing Measurement Strategy
Own the end-to-end marketing measurement strategy across experimentation, media mix modeling, and attribution for paid and PLG channels.
Establish and evolve the attribution framework spanning platform data, multi-touch attribution, media mix modeling, and experiments.
Translate measurement outputs into recommendations on investment, budget cuts, pipeline, revenue, and efficiency targets such as CAC, payback, and LTV to CAC.
Educate stakeholders on causality, model uncertainty, and limitations of platform-reported metrics.
Incrementality and Experimentation
Design and run always-on user-level and geo-level incrementality tests.
Calculate incremental lift, incrementality percentage, and incremental ROAS/CPA.
Build repeatable experiment design, analysis, and readout templates and playbooks.
Partner with paid search, paid social, lifecycle, website, and SEO owners on an experimentation roadmap.
Media Mix Modeling and Forecasting
Build and maintain media mix models to estimate channel contribution, marginal returns, and optimal budget allocation.
Incorporate seasonality, adstock, and saturation effects.
Validate model performance through backtesting and reconciliation with experiment results.
Turn modeling insights into budget scenarios and channel and regional forecasts.
Context, Tooling, and Data Integrity
Build metric definitions, model documentation, and reusable analysis patterns for self-service marketing analytics.
Use AI tools to accelerate analysis and establish AI-forward practices across marketing.
Identify and resolve gaps and inconsistencies in tracking, spend, and platform-export data.
Requirements
6+ years of experience in marketing analytics, data science, or a related field, focused on performance marketing and/or PLG growth.
Deep understanding of marketing attribution, incrementality testing, and media mix modeling.
Advanced SQL and proficiency in Python or R.
Hands-on experience designing, running, and interpreting experiments across search, social, display, email, and in-product marketing channels.
Experience with media mix modeling and/or advanced attribution models.
Strong business acumen and fluency in CAC, LTV, payback period, conversion rates, and funnel performance.
Ability to build scalable self-service tools and frameworks.
Ability to combine technical and strategic context, including model residuals and budget tradeoffs.
Habitual use of LLMs and AI tooling.
Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to work asynchronously and autonomously.
Nice to Have
Experience in BaaS, DevRel, or open-source developer-tool companies.
Experience with applied econometrics, time-series modeling, or Bayesian methods.
Familiarity with Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn, web analytics, CDPs, and BI or visualization tools.
