Team Lead, Fusion Center Operations

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of tacticians (remote operations, teleoperators, and mission control associates) to ensure they understand and execute both short- and long-term targets.
• Work hands-on with the team daily, leading by example to ensure all software and hardware tests are executed to high standards.
• Serve as the field expert for tools, features, and functions related to TeleOps workflows.
• Coordinate and streamline processes supporting Fleet Operations.
• Uphold a safety-centric, inclusive, and open-communication culture.
• Conduct written and oral performance feedback with direct reports at regular intervals.
• Support TeleOps and Fleet Operations Management through process improvement across safety and efficiency.
• Work closely with other Team Leads and Program/Project Managers within TeleOps to ensure alignment with overall goals.
• Become knowledge experts on proprietary software related to TeleOps.
• Interact with contractors to answer questions, provide information, and ensure they understand and execute assignments.
• Support missions through a wide variety of roles.
• Act as a “player/coach” and serve as the first point of contact for service escalations.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working in a high-level collaborative environment and promoting a teamwork mentality.
• 3+ years of experience as an Instructor or Lead within an operations team in a highly cross-functional environment.
• Proven ability to problem-solve and improve operational efficiency.
• Experience working in a complex technical environment.
• Proactive mindset and resourcefulness.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with team members and management and explain technical issues.

Nice-to-Haves

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 3+ years of autonomous vehicle industry or operations experience.
