Responsibilities
Lead complex client integrations end-to-end, owning technical decisions from discovery through production and serving as the primary technical contact for strategic accounts.
Design, build, and maintain public-facing Python SDKs and robust APIs that simplify integration workflows and abstract complex data management processes for clients; own API versioning, documentation, and authentication flows.
Investigate and resolve complex client-side implementation issues and data pipeline failures; drive root-cause analysis and implement systemic fixes.
Act as the escalation point for junior Solutions Engineers and partner with engineering on issues requiring deeper platform changes.
Identify data quality gaps, operational pain points, and product improvement opportunities, including privacy-safe measurement and cookieless tracking, and synthesize prioritized recommendations for the roadmap.
Mentor junior and mid-level Solutions Engineers through technical guidance, code review, and growth support.
Contribute to tooling, technology stack, and architecture decisions; propose changes that improve system health.
Collaborate on team goal-setting, aligning objectives with company priorities and distributing critical knowledge across the team.
Partner with sales on technical discovery, RFPs, and proof-of-concept engagements for strategic prospective accounts.
Requirements
5+ years of experience as a software engineer; Python preferred.
5+ years working with data systems, including hands-on SQL experience.
Familiarity with AWS, including S3 and CloudFront; PostgreSQL; and streaming data pipelines such as Kafka or Storm.
Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex for writing, debugging, refactoring, and accelerating engineering work.
Ability to drive complex, ambiguous technical projects independently through production.
Strong understanding of API architectural patterns, including REST, GraphQL, and AWS API Gateway.
Experience building and maintaining client-facing SDKs and integration tools.
Experience designing and building workflow automation with n8n, Zapier, or similar platforms.
Exceptional communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple clients and workstreams under tight timelines.
Experience mentoring engineers and contributing to team technical growth.
