Senior Platform Engineer owns cloud services, Kubernetes clusters, and developer tooling on AWS to enable engineering teams. Requires 5+ years DevOps/SRE experience, strong Kubernetes/Terraform/AWS skills, and on-call participation.

Responsibilities
- Own fundamental cloud services and tooling: manage cloud networks, security policies, and low-level cloud services. Engineering team provisions infrastructure using Terraform.
- Own application platform: administer Kubernetes clusters, explore tools for security and reliability.
- Own developer experience: assist with best practices, administer CI/CD and internal tools.
Requirements
- 5+ years in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, or Systems Engineering
- Proficient in Python, Go, or similar high-level language
- Strong understanding of networking, containers, security, and scalability
- Strong Kubernetes fundamentals and Helm experience
- Strong infrastructure as code skills (Terraform)
- Broad AWS experience
- Observability platforms (Datadog)
- CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions)
- On-call rotation experience
Nice-to-Haves
- Kubernetes tools: Vault, Sealed Secrets, Consul, Prometheus
- Data platforms: Snowflake, data infrastructure
- Cybersecurity/regulatory: HIPAA, SOC 2, ISO 27001
Compensation
- Salary: $170,000 - $240,000
