Staff Software Engineer, Agentic Applications
Staff Software Engineer owning architecture and delivery of LLM-powered agentic workflows for marketing content creation, publishing, and reliability at scale. Requires 12+ years experience building production LLM systems, human-in-the-loop designs, stakeholder collaboration, and mentoring.
About the job
Impact
- Own the architecture and delivery of agentic workflows enabling marketing to self-serve content creation and publishing across blogs, landing pages, microsites, and social.
- Work directly with marketing stakeholders to understand workflows, define quality criteria, and build trusted tools.
- Partner on CMS architecture to support agent read/write workflows and ensure structured content for AI-driven discovery.
- Build and own the agent reliability system: define output quality criteria, implement eval suites, behavioral regression testing, and feedback loops based on marketer feedback.
- Architect human-in-the-loop review systems including proposal/commit separation, diff-based review UI, approval routing, notifications, and audit logging.
- Encode brand, legal, and compliance constraints as enforceable guardrails in agent workflows.
- Partner to ensure agent-generated content meets surface quality and brand standards.
- Mentor and grow the Senior Engineer on the team, setting standards for production-grade agentic engineering.
Requirements
- 12+ years of software engineering experience with a track record of technical ownership on production systems.
- Hands-on experience building and operating LLM-powered systems in production.
- Strong instinct for designing quality and evaluation frameworks for probabilistic or generative outputs.
- Strong understanding of human-in-the-loop system design: approval workflows, review interfaces, audit logging, and guardrail implementation.
- Deep understanding of how agents interact with content systems, publishing pipelines, and web infrastructure including CMS, deployment pipelines, and edge delivery.
- Ability to work directly with non-engineering stakeholders to translate workflow requirements into agent architecture.
- Experience mentoring engineers and elevating technical execution across a team.
