Product Designer, New Grad - US Government

Core Responsibilities

• Interaction and visual design: Define early product concepts, flesh out high-level workflows and micro-interactions, execute crisp and effective visual design. Use tools such as Figma for designing and prototyping.
• User research: Conduct informal user research, visit customer offices to interview and learn from users. Pair qualitative methods (e.g., scripted usability tests, contextual inquiry) with quantitative data like product and usage metrics.
• Deliver and communicate designs: Collaborate closely with product managers and forward deployed engineers to prototype and build products. Treat them as partners.
• Awareness of how software interfaces are built: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript to collaborate effectively with engineers.

What We Require

• Planning on graduating in 2027.
• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one.
• A portfolio demonstrating at least one software interface design project (include password if protected).
