About the role
Responsibilities
Partner with Product and Engineering on the Core Workflows and User Engagement squads to design features that are delightful for users and feasible to build. Own features and components within data visualizations, task management, notifications, and commenting experiences.
Care about the details, polish, and quality of what you ship.
Work alongside our Senior Designer to bring our visual language and interaction patterns to life, applying established patterns thoughtfully as you design new features.
Gather and synthesize user feedback and observed behavior to inform design decisions, working closely with senior designers on more complex research efforts.
Build compelling business cases for design investments, connecting aesthetic and UX improvements to outcomes like retention, conversion, and customer satisfaction.
Understand technical complexity and propose solutions that respect it.
Seek different points of view, ask clarifying questions, and think creatively to find the best design solutions.
Hold a high bar for craft, have a point of view on what “great” looks like, and find the pragmatic path to get there incrementally.
Requirements
2-3 years of design experience, ideally working on a complex B2B product.
Proven ability to lead design projects from beginning to end.
Portfolio that reflects strengths in both user experience and aesthetic design, as well as in the implementation of user testing and research throughout the design process.
AI-forward in how you work: actively use AI tools in your design process.
Able to plan for the long term while navigating short-term tradeoffs.
Collaborate well across teams: distill and incorporate feedback and communicate clearly.
Simplify complex concepts, articulate and explain thoughts effectively, and ask the right questions to gain deeper insights.
Thrive in a fast-paced environment, often wearing multiple hats. Comfortable when the lines between Product and Design blur.
Eager to contribute to design foundations and foster a culture of design thinking throughout the business.
