About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute go-to-market strategies to expand API adoption among traditional financial institutions, fintech companies, asset managers, and trading firms.
  • Own and drive the commercial lifecycle with strategic partners: proactive outreach, relationship development, onboarding, and ensuring long-term success.
  • Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, surfacing impactful partnerships by leveraging the different Uniswap products and protocol.
  • Translate client trading, liquidity, and execution needs into actionable product insights; work closely with internal Product and Engineering leaders to shape features and enhancements.
  • Analyze competitive market trends and behaviors to identify unique opportunities that increase protocol volume, active liquidity management, and long-term engagement.
  • Represent Uniswap professionally at industry events, conferences, and in partner meetings to amplify the brand and secure new business opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Growth, Product, Legal, and Engineering to ensure smooth integrations, contractual alignment, and client success.
  • Develop and lead team members through structured mentorship, deal reviews, and continuous feedback, raising the bar for execution and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Relevant business development, partnerships, trading desk, or client management experience in traditional finance, fintech, or trading infrastructure.
  • Strong knowledge of financial markets, API integrations, and trading workflows; familiarity with decentralized markets a plus.
  • Ability to speak credibly with senior technical and commercial stakeholders; excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Strategic thinker with a network of institutional and fintech contacts and the ability to build deep, long-term relationships.

Nice to Have

  • Prior experience at a major fintech, exchange, or HFT/market-making firm.
  • Technical experience working on crypto protocols, DeFi, or open source software.
  • Deeply integrated with DeFi ecosystem partners and trading protocols.

Compensation

  • Minimum full-time salary of $180,000-$220,000.
  • Additional compensation elements including tokens, and benefits (medical, dental, vision, 401(k), education stipend, unlimited PTO, parental leave, etc.).
