Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain test automation using Python and JavaScript.
• Own release testing for multiple releases in a given cycle.
• Develop CI/CD-integrated automation frameworks for Development and QE teams.
• Identify and close automation gaps, reducing manual test steps.
• Partner with one or more development teams to support and increase test coverage.
• Champion quality culture by partnering cross-functionally to understand and improve quality across engineering.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with manual and automated testing of front-end and back-end apps and services.
• Strong ownership mindset with initiative and a get-it-done attitude.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience building automated tests for mobile/web apps and REST services, measuring test coverage, and developing/improving reliable test frameworks.

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Cypress, Playwright, WebdriverIO, or Selenium.
• Deep familiarity with unit, integration, end-to-end, and API-level testing.
• Experience testing mobile apps on Android and iOS.

Compensation

• Expected annual base salary: $150,000 - $185,000.
• Base salary is only part of total compensation; includes equity option grant, performance-based cash and equity bonuses.
