About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for Cash Application and Deduction Resolution Management (DRM) from discovery through requirements, build, launch, and iteration.
  • Lead the Finance Pod, collaborating with Design, Engineers, Product Managers, Finance, and Sales stakeholders to define problems, uncover user needs, and identify opportunities.
  • Plan and execute launches with Sales, Enablement, and Marketing; create release artifacts and enablement to drive adoption and customer value.
  • Partner in customer discovery; develop expertise and empathy for users and how the product fits into their daily work.
  • Translate complex user and business problems into crisp user stories and acceptance criteria; manage and prioritize the team backlog; lead agile ceremonies.
  • Partner with Engineering during implementation to ensure high-quality delivery and high velocity; make tradeoff decisions.
  • Own the financial accuracy and integrity of Cash Application and DRM from payment matching and remittance parsing to deduction validation, GL reconciliation, and clean export back to systems like NetSuite and QuickBooks.
  • Uphold product quality and reliability by anticipating risks, contributing to QA, and partnering with support to resolve customer issues.
  • Define and socialize a clear product vision, strategy, and multi-quarter roadmap aligned to company goals.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of professional experience in Product Management building SaaS products, with strong preference for B2B fintech, financial operations, or accounting/ERP-adjacent products.
  • Proven track record of shipping end-to-end products and features with clear, measurable impact (adoption, retention, revenue).
  • Strong domain fluency in finance and accounting workflows including accounts receivable, cash application, deductions/chargebacks, GL and ERP reconciliation, credit memos, and month-end close.
  • Ability to turn ambiguity into crisp problem statements and drive a prioritized multi-quarter roadmap.
  • Hands-on experience designing, delivering, and scaling B2B integrations with third-party platforms (ERPs like NetSuite and QuickBooks, accounting systems, data warehouses), including API lifecycle management, data mapping, and bidirectional financial reconciliation.
  • Customer-first mindset; skilled at discovery (interviews, surveys, shadowing) and translating insights into decisions and experiments.
  • Ownership mindset and bias for action to make trade-offs, surface risks early, and unblock teams.
  • Growth mindset; seek feedback, elevate team processes, and continuously improve how products are built.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to influence executives, align cross-functional teams, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-starter mindset with bias for action; thrive in fast-paced environments.
  • Strong data fluency and analytical rigor; able to investigate product questions, define success metrics, analyze trends, and leverage modern AI-assisted tooling to inform product decisions.
