Responsibilities
Qlik and Business Intelligence Development
- Design and develop Qlik Sense dashboards and data-load transformations for middle- and back-office groups, including accounting and compliance.
- Own the firm’s audit-trail reporting function, including daily reporting management, maintenance, reconciliation, and optimization for third parties.
- Implement efficient business-intelligence and compliance-data processes and ensure accurate, high-quality reporting within deadlines.
Backend, Integration, and Trade-Lifecycle Support
- Develop and maintain backend services supporting the full trade lifecycle, including trade capture, reconciliation, profit and loss, settlements, and accounting feeds.
- Ensure accurate and reliable data flow between front-office trading systems and middle- and back-office platforms.
System Optimization and Operations
- Support production systems and resolve time-sensitive, high-pressure issues.
- Improve system performance, reliability, and observability through testing, monitoring, and automation.
Requirements
- Academic degree in Computer Science or another STEM-related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
- Strong programming and data-querying skills, including advanced SQL and one or more general-purpose programming languages.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, data quality, and performance optimization.
- Experience developing business-intelligence dashboards, operational reports, and self-service analytics solutions with a modern visualization platform.
- Familiarity with the full software development lifecycle, including version control, automated testing, containerized deployments, system monitoring, and production support.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced trading environment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, plan and prioritize work, and meet strict deadlines.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience supporting systems or data processes across an operational lifecycle, such as trade capture, reconciliation, profit and loss, settlement, accounting, or regulatory reporting.
- Experience in trading, financial services, regulated industries, or other environments requiring high accuracy, reliability, and auditability.
- Exposure to artificial intelligence or machine learning for workflow automation, anomaly detection, data-quality monitoring, or intelligent reporting.
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $80,000–$100,000.
- Eligibility for a performance-based bonus.
