Responsibilities
Source, scope, execute, and present analyses for the product team, working independently from question to recommendation.
Partner with Product Managers and Machine Learning teams to define and monitor success metrics for product features.
Design, analyze, and interpret A/B tests and other experiments with statistical rigor.
Build and maintain dashboards and reports for transparent, self-service monitoring of product performance.
Develop reusable SQL, analytical notebooks, and lightweight frameworks, including LLM-assisted workflows, to streamline recurring analyses.
Investigate unexpected changes in product or business performance and communicate findings and recommendations clearly.
Build working knowledge of core data tables, the product area, and the wider product suite.
Collaborate with Data Scientists and Data Engineers to ensure data quality, metric consistency, and reliable instrumentation.
Document analytical approaches, assumptions, and methodologies to support reproducibility.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in analytics.
Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python for data analysis.
Experience delivering analytical projects independently, from scoping through presentation.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain analytical results to technical and non-technical audiences.
Familiarity with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Hex.
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Full-time remote work is available in California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington State.
Base salary for the SF Bay Area, Los Angeles/Orange County, and Seattle: $137,000–$170,000.
Base salary for other California, Nevada, Oregon, and Washington State locations: $126,000–$156,000.
Compensation includes equity and health, vision, and dental benefits, with offerings associated with the employee's country of residence.
Benefits may include medical coverage, wellness stipends, and additional perks based on country of residence.
Quarterly in-person team gatherings and other company events are expected.
Embedded analytics partner to Customer Success and CS Ops building post-sales intelligence: health scoring, renewal analytics, billing/support signals, expansion reporting, and CS dashboards.
