Responsibilities
- Design user interfaces across iOS, Android, and web, owning layout, typography, spacing, color systems, and visual hierarchy.
- Create interface graphics, icons, illustrations, and digital visual assets.
- Produce promotional graphics, marketing banners, advertisements, social media assets, and branded creative materials.
- Maintain and expand the design system and UI component library, preparing production-ready assets for engineering.
- Develop visual concepts that improve usability while maintaining brand consistency.
- Participate in design critiques and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and other multidisciplinary partners.
Requirements
- 1–3+ years of full-time design experience.
- Strong portfolio, presentation deck, or sample work demonstrating design foundations.
- Ability to own the design process from concept through implementation.
- Strategic collaboration skills with Product, Engineering, and other partners.
- Strong attention to detail and understanding of UI, interaction, and visual design fundamentals.
- Expertise with or strong knowledge of design systems and related processes.
Nice-to-haves
- Degree in graphic design, web/media design, UI/UX design, information design, or a related field.
Compensation & Benefits
- Contract-to-hire position.
- Full-time conversion base compensation range: $75,000–$108,000 for the greater Seattle area.
