About the role

Responsibilities

Develop and Maintain Cloud Infrastructure

  • Implement and evolve infrastructure as code using Terraform or Pulumi.
  • Automate and monitor a Kubernetes-based platform and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Contribute to infrastructure tooling that improves repeatability, safety, and visibility.

Support Developer Productivity

  • Build CLI tools, shared libraries, and scripts to accelerate development workflows.
  • Improve build, test, and deployment workflows to reduce developer friction.
  • Help define standards for service configuration, secrets management, and application-level observability.

Contribute to Platform Resilience

  • Implement dashboards, alerts, and runbooks for platform engineering services.
  • Participate in incident response, root-cause analysis, and follow-up improvements.
  • Propose and prototype changes to improve availability, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience working with cloud infrastructure, such as Google Cloud, AWS, or Azure.
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi and CI/CD workflows.
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code using at least one scripting or programming language, such as Go, Python, Bash, or TypeScript.
  • Hands-on experience using AI agents, such as Claude Code, for engineering tasks, including providing clear context, explicit constraints, and deliberate planning.
  • Experience with containerization, such as Docker, and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
  • Understanding of version-control workflows and regular participation in code reviews.
  • Strong communication, ownership, and collaboration skills.
  • Eagerness to grow into greater architectural and operational responsibilities.
