Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and grow a team of systems engineers and a tech lead.
Set clear expectations, maintain a high bar, and develop engineers responsible for critical internal systems.
Own joiner, mover, and leaver automation end to end in Okta Workflows, including API keys and service credentials.
Build and own device assurance across macOS and Windows, defining OS, browser, and device-state policies.
Rationalize the ITSM estate and enable trusted self-service.
Make Corporate Engineering a governed step in SaaS procurement, enforcing SSO and access reviews.
Own identity, access, and connector infrastructure for the company-wide AI stack, including MCP servers and Vercel.
Build visibility into work intake and team capacity to support data-driven prioritization.
Partner with Security, GRC, Finance, and Engineering to create safe self-service guardrails.
Requirements
Track record of improving an inherited team through sustained coaching.
Ability to untangle inherited complexity, unfinished migrations, and over-engineered workflows.
Enablement-first approach to safe self-service.
Technical depth to evaluate estimates and distinguish genuine risk from reported progress.
Hands-on fluency with AI in enterprise tooling, including AI-assisted automation.
Experience with identity, endpoint management, ITSM, and procurement, or deep expertise in most of these areas with expanding scope.
Experience operating through influence across partner organizations.
8+ years in IT or systems engineering, including 3+ years managing and developing engineers.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employer sponsorship.
