Staff Software Engineer, Frontend

Responsibilities

• Own features on web and mobile platforms, including the Phantom Extension, Phantom Terminal, and the mobile app.
• Lead initiatives to add support for other blockchains to Phantom and launch new complementary products or infrastructure.
• Interface directly with end-users and developers building on Phantom, supporting them and collecting feedback to inform product direction.
• Work with the team to create and foster a culture of raising the bar with each new hire.
• Build core trading flows across spot trading, perpetuals, and prediction markets.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and trading teams to deliver intuitive and powerful discovery experiences.
• Demonstrate high agency with a bias toward action, proactively identifying opportunities, driving solutions, and shipping high-quality products end-to-end.
• Operate comfortably in ambiguity and take full ownership of outcomes in a fast-moving environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years full-time software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with React / TypeScript / React Native.
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms.
• English language proficiency.
• Experience working with trading systems.
