Staff Frontend Engineer

Responsibilities

• Build, Own, and Evangelize Shared Frontend Libraries – Create, maintain, and drive adoption of reusable frontend components and libraries that accelerate development and maintain consistency across teams.
• Own Frontend Performance & Architecture – Drive frontend optimization by reducing bundle sizes, improving rendering efficiency, and establishing best practices that elevate engineering quality across the organization.
• Improve, Scale, and Evangelize the Design System – Keep the Design System robust, performant, well-documented, and deeply integrated into frontend workflows while championing its adoption across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of full-time software engineering experience with strong frontend development focus, including:
  • React & TypeScript - Component architecture, state management, and performance optimization
  • Data fetching, caching, and state management
• Demonstrated interest in open and community-driven platforms
• English language proficiency

The target base salary for this role will range between $200,000 to $270,000 with the addition of equity and benefits. This is determined by a few factors including your skillset, prior relevant experience, quality of interviews and market factors (such as location) at the point in time of offer.
