About the role

Responsibilities

  • Own the close for assigned areas, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses; ensure GL-to-subledger integrity.
  • Manage key general ledger cycles, including cash, accruals, fixed assets, and deferred revenue, with clean rollforwards and documentation.
  • Drive cutoffs and analytics by coordinating with AP, AR, Payroll, Procurement, and FP&A on accruals and budget-to-actuals; propose data-driven adjustments.
  • Identify control risks, gaps, and inefficiencies and drive solutions to improve audit readiness.
  • Improve processes and tools by standardizing templates, automating reconciliations, and streamlining the close calendar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA or CPA eligibility.
  • 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, such as a Big Four or national firm, and/or a high-growth operating environment.
  • Proficiency with general ledgers, subledgers, and reconciliation tools such as FloQast.
  • Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
  • Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
  • Clear communication, ownership, collaboration, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
