Responsibilities
Lead AI Solutions, Platforms, and Tools
Own the AI roadmap and intake process for Marketing, Creative, and Communications.
Drive production-grade AI solution development across organization-wide infrastructure, team-level products, and individual workflows, including adoption plans for every initiative.
Lead the Platform & Tools team responsible for the marketing sites platform and the Marketing, Creative, and Communications tools ecosystem.
Establish the operating model, culture, and prioritization framework across teams.
Manage full-time technical talent and offshore agency engineering partnerships.
Own and Evolve the MarTech Stack
Define the strategy, technical selection, and system integration of the marketing technology ecosystem, including CRM, MAP, CDP, DAM, social management, and campaign tooling.
Lead system connectivity, API orchestration, platform uptime, and activation of data pipelines managed by Data Science teams.
Oversee event tracking and media enablement infrastructure, including server-side tagging/GTM, CAPI, and conversion pixels.
Assess and evolve the stack to ensure it remains integrated, scalable, and aligned with organizational growth.
Manage vendor contracts, renewals, license optimization, and performance.
Own the marketing technology budget and investment strategy using build-versus-buy-versus-expand evaluations.
Partner with Legal and Security on data privacy, compliance, and tool governance.
Embed AI Across Marketing
Integrate AI natively into CRM workflows, lifecycle automation, campaign optimization, and audience segmentation.
Design and deploy agentic AI workforces for intake routing, brief generation, workflow orchestration, cross-functional coordination, and status tracking.
Build production-grade AI solutions with defined owners, launch dates, and adoption plans.
Maintain a centralized AI asset repository to prevent duplicated spending.
Partner with Strategic Enablement on adoption and people development.
Executive Leadership
Influence Marketing, Creative, and Communications leadership, Engineering, Finance, Legal, and IT.
Represent the MarTech vision with vendors, agency partners, and technology platforms.
Translate business goals into architecture decisions and communicate technical complexity to non-technical executives.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of technical leadership experience with Director-level scope building, configuring, and integrating enterprise MarTech systems.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Hands-on marketing experience supporting brand, performance, lifecycle, and communications organizations.
Hands-on AI implementation experience integrating AI and LLMs, including OpenAI, Gemini, and Anthropic, directly into marketing stacks.
Experience integrating AI into CRM automation, lifecycle triggers, predictive segmentation, and campaign optimization.
Experience designing and deploying multi-agent AI systems that automate operational processes.
Strong background in API integrations, web platform architecture, server-side tracking, CMS ecosystems, and modern delivery practices.
Experience with CI/CD, agile execution, and sprint-based delivery.
Full-stack MarTech fluency across CRM, CDP, MAP, DAM, social management, and integration layers.
Experience partnering with Data Science and Engineering teams to activate data models in marketing platforms.
Player-coach leadership style with experience developing people and building learning cultures.
Strong executive communication and vendor evaluation skills.
Recognized external perspective on MarTech and AI.
