Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the founder, product managers, designers, and engineers to design and build a high-impact product.
- Build and ship critical features with strong attention to detail, maintainability, and scalability.
- Own features end to end, from requirements and implementation through testing, observability, deployment, and production iteration.
- Contribute to and help shape the engineering culture as the team grows.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience building and operating complex web applications in production environments.
- Strong backend development experience, ideally with Python and frameworks such as FastAPI or Flask.
- Comfort working across the stack; React experience is a strong plus.
- Outcome-oriented approach to solving customer problems.
- Pragmatic approach to solution design and delivery.
- Experience owning features from initial concepts through production impact and iteration.
- Must reside in the United States.
- Ability to attend a 1–2 week onboarding onsite in Los Angeles/Santa Monica; travel and accommodations are covered.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: $180,000–$200,000.
