About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage a globally distributed team responsible for the programmable interface of the networking fabric.
  • Act as a technical lead driving vision, roadmap, and execution on various projects.
  • Mentor managers and ICs to become domain experts in technologies and products building the networking fabric.
  • Drive cross-team projects with company-wide impact to deliver innovative platform capabilities.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience leading relatively large (12 or greater) highly technical teams.
  • Deep technical understanding of cloud infrastructure, especially Kubernetes and cloud networking.
  • Background in developing and leading teams that specialize in building highly scalable distributed cloud native applications.
  • Experience building SaaS products and platforms.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Understanding of cloud networking as a user of cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
  • Experience running cloud hosted services, especially enterprise applications.
  • Background in real time streaming infrastructure and data processing infrastructure.
  • Masters/PhD in Computer Science or a related field.
