Leads AI & platforms teams to build agent-powered coding platforms, data tools, and no-code solutions transforming Veho's tech org. Requires hands-on ML/engineering leadership, scaling global teams, and fast shipping of high-impact platforms.
Responsibilities
- Transform how Veho's Tech org builds software, shifting engineers to review agent output and data scientists to focus on core work.
- Build AI-powered platforms for coding, data exploration, and no-code tools accessible to all departments.
- Lead data science and operations research functions to accelerate time-to-value.
- Scale a global team to ship software and data science models at high velocity.
- Cut time-to-insight in half for data teams and enable >75% of coding tasks by agents.
Requirements
- Builder mindset: hands-on coding, prototyping, shipping PRs (not slides).
- Experience building and scaling platforms that earn adoption through excellence.
- Proven team leadership: hiring, developing people, managing distributed/remote teams across growth stages.
- Deep technical roots: ML Engineer or ML-adjacent background, fluent in engineering-data science conversations.
- Fast execution: ship value in weeks, embrace explicit tech debt cycles, working solutions first.
- Willingness to engage in warehouse work, customer service, or shipping code.
Nice-to-Haves
- Experience at companies with strong ML Platform / MLE cultures.
- Led engineering or Data Science teams and understands scaling.
- Background in logistics, delivery, or marketplace tech.
Compensation
$275,000 - $325,000 annually, plus competitive equity, medical/dental/vision, 401k, unlimited PTO.
