About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build Traba's product on top of AI agents across the staffing marketplace to automate sourcing, vetting, matching, and placement of workers
  • Own core backend services and platform infrastructure supporting AI agents
  • Architect and lead core systems including real-time matching and autonomous vetting pipelines powered by ML and agents
  • Own platform architecture with long-term scalability in mind
  • Drive backend performance, reliability, and scale
  • Set the standard for applying agents across the stack and for AI-assisted tooling usage

Requirements

  • 7+ years with TypeScript/Node.js or Python, PostgreSQL, and messaging (Kafka or RabbitMQ)
  • Track record of shipping and leading projects at scale with high velocity
  • Deep full-stack experience designing performant, scalable applications
  • Expertise in APIs, data modeling, query optimization, and distributed systems
  • Comfort owning ambiguity and direction in an early-stage environment

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience building or integrating AI/LLM systems in production
