Staff Software Engineer
Staff Software Engineer leading complex technical initiatives, system architecture, and mentoring at an early-stage NYC fintech startup building fund management software.
What You'll Do
Build: Design, architect, and implement solutions to the hardest technical problems facing the company, whether that’s performance bottlenecks, data correctness issues, system scalability, architectural debt, or cross-cutting platform concerns.
Lead: Act as a technical leader across teams by setting standards, influencing architectural decisions, mentoring engineers, and improving engineering practices. You’ll step in where problems are most complex or blocked and help teams move forward with clarity and confidence.
Partner: Work closely with product, design, and domain experts to translate unclear or evolving requirements into robust technical solutions. You’ll help teams make smart tradeoffs and build systems that are flexible, reliable, and easy to evolve.
