Staff Product Manager, Agent Observability
Own LiveKit's Agent Observability product as sole PM: set vision and roadmap for traces, recordings, dashboards, evals, and quality metrics serving both technical engineers and non-technical operators.
Responsibilities
- Own the observability roadmap: set vision and sequenced plan for the suite (traces, recordings, dashboards, evals, quality metrics) in partnership with engineering
- Ship products people rely on: turn complex, data-dense problems into daily-used experiences while raising quality bar
- Make agent quality measurable: build evals and metrics for latency, cost, conversation quality, and behavior
- Design for two audiences: deeply technical users (engineers debugging calls) and non-technical operators (reviewing quality, cost, agent behavior)
- Get deep with customers and data: understand how teams run and debug agents in production to shape priorities
- Grow observability into a business: drive adoption and revenue reflecting delivered value
Requirements
- 8+ years in product management at senior or staff level, ideally owning developer-facing or data-heavy products
- Technical depth: reason about complex systems under the hood and earn trust of strong engineers
- Multi-persona product sense: built for both deeply technical and non-technical users in the same product; design judgment for dense, data-rich interfaces
- Cross-functional influence: influence through clarity, trust, and good judgment rather than process or hierarchy
- Communication as a superpower: write clearly, present well, move between board-level strategy and detailed technical discussions
- Comfort with ambiguity: figure out what matters, prioritize ruthlessly, move quickly without perfect information
Nice to Have
- Built an observability, monitoring, or analytics product, or a tool for evaluating and improving AI/LLM quality
- Familiarity with evals, tracing, or quality measurement for AI/LLM or agent systems
- Familiarity with how teams debug and monitor software in production (logs, traces, metrics, dashboards)
- Background at a developer tools or infrastructure company
- Familiarity with voice AI, real-time communication, or telephony
- Experience with usage-based pricing models
Senior AI Product Manager, Healthcare Agents
Own the Healthcare vertical for AI agent training environments and data products. Partner with frontier labs to build realistic healthcare workflow simulations and datasets that train agents on real clinical and revenue-cycle tasks.
