About the role

Responsibilities

  • Develop containerized (micro)services and components for a distributed multi-tenant system processing data, real-time events, and telemetry from public clouds to provide insights, visibility, and security recommendations.
  • Mentor junior engineers, new-grads, and interns.
  • Own critical features and subsystems through the full software development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment.
  • Own operational aspects of the system.
  • Ensure quality through early developer testing, functional/integration testing, and performance testing.
  • Partner with Product Management to refine requirements.
  • Develop deep understanding of customer problems through stakeholder interaction.

Requirements

  • 5+ years building distributed & scalable software and systems.
  • Passion for software development, constant learning, and team collaboration.
  • AWS / Azure / GCP cloud experience at the API/programming level.
  • Experience in Java and Spring Boot or Golang.
  • REST API client experience.
  • Kubernetes experience delivering containerized services.
  • General TCP/IP networking knowledge.
  • Unix/Linux programming environment experience.

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with networking and security controls.
  • CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible.
