Sr. IT Systems/Automation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve IT automation platform, driving design, implementation, and improvement of automation workflows across IT and Security.
• Lead and maintain Mobile Security program, MDM configuration, and policy enforcement.
• Design and deliver end-to-end automation solutions across onboarding/offboarding and security compliance workflows.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders across IAM, Security, Infrastructure, and Engineering.
• Support M&A technical integrations using automation skills.
• Document solutions, train, and mentor junior engineers.

Requirements

Core Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT systems engineering and automation.
• Proven track record of delivering complex, multi-system automation projects.
• Strong automation mindset to architect scalable solutions.
• Ability to operate with minimal guidance and deliver high-quality work under pressure.

Automation & Integration Expertise

• Hands-on experience with enterprise IT automation platforms (Tines preferred).
• Building and troubleshooting integrations between identity, endpoint, ticketing, and security platforms.
• Designing and delivering automation for IT processes: onboarding/offboarding, access provisioning, license management, and security compliance.

Endpoint & Mobile Device Management

• Expertise with Jamf MDM for managing macOS, iOS, Windows, and Android devices at scale.
• Experience with zero-touch provisioning, device imaging, configuration management, and security policy enforcement.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex, cross-device ecosystem issues.

Identity & Access Management

• Working knowledge of IAM platforms (Okta preferred), including SSO, SCIM provisioning, group rules, and access lifecycle management.
• Ability to troubleshoot and improve identity workflows.

Collaboration & Communication

• Strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Effective at coaching and training peers.
• Clear communicator for technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Certifications in relevant platforms (Jamf, Tines, Okta, Google Workspace).
