About the role

Responsibilities

  • Define the end-to-end product strategy for self-serve business growth across acquisition, conversion, activation, retention, expansion, and monetization.
  • Identify and prioritize the highest-impact product opportunities that improve team adoption, usage, retention, and expansion across self-serve business products.
  • Develop growth motions that help teams building with OpenAI get to value faster and expand their usage over time.
  • Partner with core product teams to shape roadmap priorities and ensure growth opportunities are embedded across the product experience.
  • Own self-serve business growth goals, metrics, and executive-level narratives, including progress, insights, tradeoffs, and investment needs.
  • Work closely with Sales and Go-To-Market teams to design seamless handoff, upsell, and expansion motions between self-serve and Enterprise tiers.
  • Use customer insights, product analytics, experimentation, and business data to inform strategy and measure impact.
  • Influence cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Design, Data Science, Sales, Marketing, and Operations.
  • Help build and mentor a growing team of PMs as the self-serve growth function scales.

Requirements

  • Have led product-led growth initiatives for B2B, SaaS, developer, or business-facing products.
  • Have experience building growth loops, activation flows, team adoption experiences, monetization paths, or expansion motions.
  • Have worked on team-based, workspace, collaboration, developer, or multi-user products.
  • Are comfortable owning business outcomes even when execution depends on multiple teams and product surfaces.
  • Are highly analytical and can translate customer behavior, product data, and business goals into a focused product strategy.
  • Are strong at cross-functional influence, strategic alignment, and executive communication.
  • Have operated at significant scale, such as large user bases, meaningful revenue responsibility, or high-growth product lines.

  • Experience in PLG, B2B SaaS, self-serve growth, monetization, lifecycle growth, or developer products.
  • Experience with team-based, workspace, collaboration, or developer-facing products.
  • Experience partnering with Sales, Revenue, or Go-To-Market teams on handoff, upsell, or expansion motions.
