About the role
What You Will Do
- Oversee the life cycle of immigration cases in countries including but not limited to U.S., Canada, UK, Ireland, Singapore, and Australia.
- Build, maintain and improve internal reporting and compliance systems for global immigration programs.
- Drive development of new immigration programs together with our immigration team and outside counsel.
- Partner with external and internal stakeholders to advise employees and candidates on immigration matters (e.g. visa options, eligibility, travel).
- Create and draft internal articles and policies on immigration procedures and common questions.
- Partner with internal stakeholders (HR, legal, recruiting) to increase visibility, efficiency, and otherwise level up Rippling’s immigration program.
You Have
- 2+ years of immigration experience, in-house or at a law firm.
- Experience preparing U.S. business nonimmigrant visas (H-1B, L-1, O-1, etc.) or their global equivalents.
- Experience with permanent residency applications, such as the PERM, I-140, and AOS is a plus.
- Passion for learning about complex global immigration systems and finding solutions for visa-holders and stakeholders.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills is a must.
- Experience in developing and executing global mobility related projects is a plus.
- Entrepreneurial mindset (flexible, self-starting, excited to learn, and hard-working).
