Government Affairs Intern
Paid onsite Government Affairs Intern supporting congressional, federal, state, and local policy engagement for Snowflake's AI and data initiatives. Open to rising seniors or first-year master's students in policy, political science, or related fields.
Responsibilities
- Support planning, staffing, and follow-up for engagements with members of Congress, committee staff, and federal agency officials (briefing preparation, meeting logistics, post-engagement tracking)
- Assist in building and maintaining relationships with state and local leaders; identify opportunities for Snowflake to engage on data modernization, AI adoption, and digital governance initiatives
- Monitor and synthesize developments in AI legislation, data privacy regulation, and technology governance; produce clear, actionable briefs for internal stakeholders and executives
- Help plan and staff Snowflake's presence at political and policy events, industry convenings, and government-facing forums in Washington, D.C. and beyond
Requirements
- Must be actively enrolled in an accredited university or graduate program during the internship
- Rising senior or first-year master's student
- Majors: Public Policy, Political Science, Government, International Relations, Law, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field
- Required coursework: Public policy, government/politics, technology policy, or equivalent demonstrated experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to synthesize complex technology and policy topics into clear, audience-appropriate narratives
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results in a fast-moving, high-stakes environment
- Intellectual curiosity and proactive mindset
Nice-to-Haves
- Recommended coursework: Regulatory affairs, international relations, data privacy/governance, AI ethics, communications, or quantitative analysis
- Bonus experience: Prior internship or project experience on Capitol Hill, in a federal agency, political campaign, think tank, trade association, or technology company government affairs office; familiarity with AI/data policy issues; demonstrated use of AI tools in an academic or professional context

Support field marketing team with event planning, campaign execution, performance reporting, and content creation for a Process Intelligence SaaS company. Part-time internship (25 hrs/week) for current marketing/comms students.
Financial Crime Analyst
Investigate financial transactions and customer activity to detect money laundering and terrorist financing using AI tools for research and analysis. Partner with product and engineering to improve AI capabilities through real-world insights.
