About the role
Responsibilities
Own the design, automation, and continuous improvement of core IT systems: identity and access management (SSO, MFA, provisioning, de-provisioning, access reviews), device management, and enterprise SaaS operations.
Design, build, and maintain scalable IT workflows and automations that reduce manual work across onboarding, offboarding, access provisioning, device compliance, software deployment, and reporting.
Build and maintain integrations between enterprise SaaS platforms, identity providers, device management tools, ticketing systems, collaboration platforms, and security tools using APIs, scripting, and automation platforms.
Define and build AI-enabled IT solutions, from AI-assisted support workflows and anomaly detection to automation of repetitive operational processes.
Partner with Security, Engineering, People, Finance, Legal, and business teams to understand pain points, gather requirements, and deliver IT systems that meet operational, compliance, and security needs.
Own IT planning, budgeting, cost forecasting, and cost optimization across SaaS platforms, licenses, devices, and IT services.
Requirements
5+ years of experience in enterprise IT, systems engineering, IT automation, or infrastructure administration.
Hands-on experience writing code and scripts (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, or similar) and working with APIs, webhooks, and automation or integration platforms.
Proficiency with identity management platforms (Okta, Azure AD, Google Workspace, Rippling, or similar) and hands-on experience with MFA, SSO, lifecycle management, VPNs, endpoint security, and access controls.
Familiarity with device management tools (Jamf, Intune, Kandji, Mosyle, or similar) and experience managing device lifecycle workflows from procurement through retirement.
Experience with AI tools and AI-assisted automation for IT operations, with a mindset toward building AI-enabled workflows that improve service delivery and employee productivity.
Strong working knowledge of macOS, Windows, and Linux environments, plus solid understanding of networking principles (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, firewalls).
Experience engaging with stakeholders across functions, gathering requirements, and translating business needs into technical solutions.
Demonstrated bias for action and ownership, especially in critical situations like account lockouts, access emergencies, and business-impacting IT incidents.

Experience in fintech, payments, banking, or other regulated environments, including supporting security, compliance, audit, or risk management programs.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code, configuration management, CI/CD, or cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
