Responsibilities

Drive cross-functional collaboration with Product, Design, and QA to deliver critical engineering initiatives.
Lead the design and implementation of features within the core Android and Kotlin platform, from conception through deployment.
Define and champion engineering best practices; contribute to technical designs, proposals, and long-term architectural decisions.
Mentor and coach engineers through code reviews and technical guidance.
Develop maintainable software with comprehensive test coverage and improve testing and CI/CD strategies.
Create and maintain technical documentation and foster knowledge sharing.
Adopt AI-native engineering practices and AI coding assistants while maintaining rigorous security and code-quality standards.

Requirements

5–7 years of software development experience, including at least 3 years designing and building scalable, high-performance Android client-side features using Kotlin.
Deep expertise building secure, high-quality Android applications, including performance optimization and multithreading.
Experience designing, building, and securing APIs for large-scale mobile systems.
Expert knowledge of Android frameworks and debugging across Android OS versions and device types.
Understanding of design patterns, scalability patterns, security engineering, and object-oriented principles.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence technical direction.
Proficiency with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

Familiarity with Identity and Access Management protocols and technologies, including FIDO, U2F, WebAuthn, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and Federation.
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, secure coding practices, and certifications such as CISSP or Security+.
Experience building security applications such as VPNs, firewalls, or antivirus software.
