AI/Data Resident
Six-month remote internship for final-year Computer Science students working across AI and data engineering. Residents develop and evaluate machine learning models, build backend and data pipelines, and analyze large datasets while receiving mentorship and a monthly stipend.

Responsibilities
AI Resident
- Research, design, implement, optimize, and deploy deep learning models.
- Read deep learning papers and implement, adapt, and evaluate the described models and algorithms.
- Develop and maintain enterprise software applications, focusing on back-end systems, APIs, language-model integration, and NLP technologies.
- Train machine learning models.
- Develop algorithms for prompt engineering, model fine-tuning, open-source model training, large-scale distributed training, and model benchmarking.
- Optimize neural networks and preprocessing/postprocessing code for efficient embedded-device execution.
Data Resident
- Gather, transform, process, and analyze data.
- Work with large, complex datasets and solve non-routine analysis problems using advanced analytical methods.
- Build and iteratively prototype analysis pipelines to provide insights at scale.
Requirements
- Final-year undergraduate student in Computer Science or a related field, graduating by June of the following year.
- GPA of 8.0 or above; top JEE Advanced rankers and consistently strong academic records preferred.
- Strong coding skills and ability to take ownership of tasks.
- Experience with SQL and programming languages such as Python, Scala, or R.
- Experience with Python and familiarity with PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Keras.
- Experience with statistical methods such as linear models, multivariate analysis, stochastic processes, and sampling methods.
- Strong interest in machine learning, NLP, systems programming, data engineering, data processing frameworks, streaming databases, or data visualization.
