Responsibilities
Prepare reporting and analyses for management and the Board of Directors, including annual and quarterly financial reviews, Board materials, investor reporting, and weekly and monthly business reviews.
Improve, automate, and scale forecasting and reporting tools, processes, and methodologies.
Become a power user of Adaptive Planning and identify opportunities to automate financial planning processes.
Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, Corporate Development, People/HR, and other teams.
Integrate AI into financial processes to uncover business insights, improve forecast accuracy, identify emerging trends, and drive automation.
Provide data-driven ad hoc analyses and prepare strategic materials for management meetings, summarizing findings, risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
Support M&A analysis, including financial modeling and due diligence.
Own balance sheet and cash flow forecasting and partner with Finance to optimize working capital.
Lead strategic financial planning and forecasting across departments, including quarterly planning, annual operating planning, and long-range planning.
Requirements
4+ years of progressive Finance experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including Strategic Finance, FP&A, investment banking, or consulting.
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills, including experience building three-statement financial models.
Understanding of, or willingness to become a power user of, financial planning systems such as Adaptive Planning and Oracle.
Ability to manage and manipulate large data sets, critically analyze processes, and identify process-improvement opportunities.
Ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
Strong attention to detail, sense of urgency, and prioritization skills.
Excellent presentation and writing skills, with the ability to communicate messages linking business issues, financial results, and strategy at the executive level.
Strong ownership, resilience, bias for action, and ability to work through ambiguity.

On-target earnings or base salary: $128,000–$150,000 USD for San Francisco, CA.
